GoFundMe Fundraiser - New Zendo

Hello all:

Our new zendo is an exciting development for Calgary Soto Zen.  I am looking forward to getting back to Zazen every weekday morning with fellow practitioners and our evening sits and discussions over tea.

I hope everyone will feel welcome in the new space and will find it a supportive place to practice.

This adventure of ours includes a new financial step and commitment.  We have signed a one year lease on a beautifully renovated suite in a charming old house converted to office spaces.  Renting this space will add almost $6000 to our budget for the next year and we will be fully relying on the practice of "dana" (generosity) from practitioners and supporters to cover it.

To help that process along, we have created a "gofundme" site with the hope of covering these costs.

I would like to invite you to visit the website and if you can, to donate.

Also, it would be helpful if you would share the link with others.

Deep Bows and Gratitude,

Baizan Tim Sampson
Practice Leader
