Our Practice
As a Soto Zen community (sangha) in the lineage of Eihei Dogen we are committed to the practice of Zazen (sitting meditation) focusing on posture and breath.
In our practice outside the meditation hall, we consider how to be caring, helpful, humble and cause as little harm as possible, honoring the Bodhisattva precepts passed down to us by Buddhas and ancestors.
Our connections
We are associated with the Soto Zen School as a "branching streams" affiliate of the San Francisco Zen Center.
We are a member sangha of Everyday Zen, founded by Zoketsu Norman Fischer former Abbot of San Francisco Zen Center.
